I am wondering if anyone knows how many points I am allowed to have on weight watchers?

I am 26 and weigh 217 pounds. I have struggled since I've had my two sons. I am fairly active now but I would like to calculate the points for someone with my weight and not much activity. I don't want to pay all that money to go one time because I do not have time to attend normal meetings and would rather pay to keep my gym membership rather than paying for weight watchers. Thanks for anyone who can help.

Hmm...I'm not a weight watcher member myself, buy my sister has been for a long time and she has told me the bigger you are the more points you have. So I'd guess for 26 points a day, but I'm not sure. She told me since I'm smaller
(I'm 5'7 and 135 pounds) I'd only have 17 points a day. Weight watchers is a really great program, you can join online its cheaper and you don't have to go to the meetings and weigh yourself in front of everyone. You should try it if you're really interested in losing weight. My sister has lost 70 pounds on it.
I want to say 27, but it's been a while since I checked. You still get the weekly 35 no matter what. I use only the online tools now - much less expensive - and I can use it at a moment's notice.
yes, it's very possible to dehydrate while drinking in-sufficient amounts of water. Please do keep hydrated, it's good for you. If you tire of water, find a sports drink you like, but keep it 50/50 with how much water you drink. I prefer very light sun tea served ice cold. Make sure your sports drink has electrolytes in it cuz that's what you need. Bottled water also does not contain the minerals you need, so you can still get ill if you just drink bottled water. Keep up the Gym membership and use it. It's better for you. Also, walking for 30 minutes every day too.
Good luck and remember, you only have to please yourself!!
Tulip, I am looking at the WW getting started booklet. According to the Target Point chart, you are allowed 26 points per day.Your age has nothing to do with it.Good luck and remember, when you exercise you gain extra points!
