I am wanting to lose weight but my willpower is terrible what can i do to keep myself strong?

Answer:
Keep active, don't sit around the house watching TV or on the computer. Learn what your hunger triggers are such as boredom etc...Keeping a food journal will also give you an idea of your eating habits to help you make better choices.~Remember: losing weight for good and staying healthy takes time...don't expect miracles overnight. Good luck, hun
Join Weight Watchers. They work miracles! :D
If you live in the UK then we need the sun to give us will power , I know that psychologically I will eat less when it is hot but no chance of that at the moment.xx
find a partner /friend that will do the walk with you together. i did it and i am now more inclined to do my exercises and the eating habits are much better too
i dont really know myself. i want to lose weight to but my will power is horrible. I need to lose 12 pounds before august 14 maybe we can help each other out. my email is malissa_lws@yahoo.com
Stick up pictures of yourself when you think you were looking your best, kitchen cupboards and fridge doors are the best place!!
mind of matter... join a sport, walk everyday(its good for the heart) go to a gym
Imagine what it is going to feel like, what will losing weight do for you, will you feel better about yourself, will you feel healthier, will you fit your clothes better, will you be more atttractive by losing weight. close your eyes and imagine what losing weight will do for you, what will it bring you. be happy whatever you do:)Good luck
dont put pressure on your mind that you have to loose weight... willpower goes down in stress.
join some sport with your friends as they keep you motivated if regular exercises are not helping
Get a picture of a model that you want to look like and post it all over in the kitchen or any place you like to eat. So when you see that picture you will be reminded to eat healthy and keep exercising.
You could always try Jenny Creg, i have seen it work or you could go on a weight loss program but do it with a friend and work 2gether :)
Much of the time, when people get too fat, it's because they eat just out of boredom rather than when they're really hungry. As such, I would suggest finding something to keep you occupied so that you don't just start eating in order to have something to do. And I don't mean TV; studies have shown that using the computer is much healthier, in terms of obesity, than watching TV is, because when you're using the computer you have to use your hands so they aren't free for eating. Try finding a good computer game to play. If you don't like computer games, then read a book or join an online forum. Something to keep you and your hands occupied.
Jonesy...I understand what you are going through... I am trying desperately to loose weight myself..It's pretty tough. But over the years I have lost weight!! And know I'm going to share to you what I did...
First I ate a bowl of cereal with milk. Then, to keep myself occupied I would paint, draw, or do something I like. Find a hobby you would enjoy doing for hours. That's the best recipe I could find for willpower...Try it and see if it works.
Keep busy. Then your mind doesn't have a chance to wander!!
look at your disgusting body naked in the mirror each day.;) keep a journal of what you have eaten for the day, when your reach your needed calorie limit for the day stop! don't eat anymore. if you eat crap, you will prob be malnourished, no more fast food, nothing from the snack or sweets aisle in the store. if you eat those things you will hit your calorie limit in a meal or two and be hungry the rest of the day. eat a banana instead of cookies, 100 calories for a banana vs 600 or so for a few oreos. try eating six bananas, you probably couldn't no matter how you tried.
Just do it.
Exercising? Just do it! No Excuses. None!
Eating less? Just do it! No excuses! You are capable of doing amazing things. Yes YOU! It is not hard, once you start...just don't stop.Starting was the hard part. Make your exercise a PRIORITY over whatever else needs to be done. 20 minutes 3X per week is easy...JUST DO IT!Good luck! I know you will succeed!
Treat yourself like a new puppy ... give yourself 'small treats' when you do something 'right' ... you don't NEED to eat a big bag of chips or a huge bar of chocolate if you get the slightly more expensive 'better stuff' and package it into small 'treat bags' (they have tiny 'snack bags' for kids that are GREAT) ... give yourself one piece of dark chocolate at about 10:30 if you ate a 'good breakfast' and drank two cups of water ... give yourself a bit of 'chips' (salty snack)or a piece of fresh fruit at about 3 to help 'tide you over' until dinner. Eat a 'tiny dessert' every night, but NOT until at least 2.5 hours AFTER dinner. And you may even eat a small piece of fruit or DARK chocolate right before bed ... that's really very 'few calories' and with your 'frequent treats' you'll have more 'willpower' to stay on your 'diet' until you lose the weight you want to lose. AND ALWAYS EXERCISE MORE than you did when you were 'fat and lazy' ... go for a walk after dinner, walk to work from two bus-stops away, or park your car as FAR from work in the parking lot as you can ... and get a 'friend' to 'diet' with you, because it's always more 'fun' if you and your friend can do the 'eating, snacking, and exercising' TOGETHER, and can 'compare' progress.
Jenny Craig all the way!
Go buy yourself the nicest dress/outfit in the size you want to be, and then tell yourself - I am gonna get into that !!.
Losing weight is hard. Jut start slowly. Like, try swapping a sweet thing for a piece of fruit/raisins/grapes etc. Try and walk a bit more, get up an hour earlier and do a bit of stretching in your living room. After the first couple of days you'll get used to it. Especially when you see and feel the difference. An easy exercise to do as well is try and and run or walk on the spot for 20 seconds, then kick alternating legs for another 20 and so on.You can do 5 mins or more if you want! Good luck lol
What exactly do you want to do ? lose weight or keep yourself strong ?
ok well the thing I do is set a goal and a risk along with it. the risk would be take something away whenever you give up and you can't get it back until you start tring again. (for example I love drawing so I took that away and gave my supplies to my friend for a week until I tried again). another thing you could do is find a cute outfit that is the size you want to reach but is too small at the moment and you really want to wear it so the only way you could wear it is if you worked hard to lose the weight. Just a thought. hope I helped. ~^_^~
i know exactly how you feel. i asked this question not to long ago in womens health.
How do you cope with your weight...?
i am not overweight but i feel like i weigh 400+ lbs. i do not have the motovation to get myself to start losing weight. i have seriously thought about becoming bulimic. i am that unhappy with my body and self image. any smart remarks and i will hit the abuse button.
will power omes sometimes from how we feel about ourselfs..join a walking group or some other healthy ativity group, swith from sugar to "HONEY"..in between meals eat fruit and raw veg..you may find it hard for a few days as i know we have cravings at certain times of the month.Eat like the french do..and have nice wine and choolate at the weekends.I live on Dartmoor and walk everywhere as i do not drive.Feeling good about youserlf is very imporant.take are..Janine
put up a pic of when you were biggest and one of when you thought you looked great! buy something nice to wear in a smaller size than you are now. walk, its easy with a walkman or other sort of music player, you don't realise how far you have gone. get a pedometer that tells you how far, how many steps(you are supposed to do 10,000 a day!)and how many calories you have used.
at the moment I'm on this diet and have lost 7lbs in 2 weeks!
for the first 3 days you have 2 pints milk, 3 bananas, 1 pear and as much fruit as you want- that's all,the next 4 days the same but a small amount of protein, chicken, tuna etc with stir fried veg for dinner. the next 3 weeks are the same but you can have 30 gms cereal with your milk. its only 900 calories a day but i needed something to start me off with a good result, as i had put on a stone in the last year and nothing would fit and its holidays soon. or you could join an on line slimming club
http://www.mirrorslimmingclub.co.uk/proc... this is a good one cos you set yourself goals and it tells you how many calories to eat and how much excersise to do to reach them. they the calories of everything for you, do recipes etc and you can have the calorie counter downloaded to your mobile good luck
Forget willpower and develop Wont Power.
I must say too join Weight Watchers. I went on many diets but never managed to keep to them. I would lose a little and lose a lot and then put it all back on again. Until I joined Weight Watchers 12 months ago. I lost 3 stones, 40 lbs in just over 3 months. I am now a gold member and weigh in at a meeting every 2/3 weeks. I have found a diet which I enjoy. I feel so much better and feel so confident about myself it has given me a real boost. Give it a go. If I can do it I bet you can too. Good luck.
They tell you to imagine yourself slim, trouble is it was that long ago it's hard for me to remember.

I am very skinny what can i do to gain weight?

I am 13 and i really hate being the anorexic looking girl. I am 5' 4 '' and weigh between 87 and 90 lbs. and I would like to gain 7-10 lbs. What exercises w/o weights and machines can i do to acomplish this?
Answer:
what excerise?!
lol jk
get a steady healthy diet.
and work out like walking lightly maybe for 20 minutes 3 days a week?
Well I have the same problem. I'm 13 years of age and only weigh 82 pounds. The only way to gain weight is to EAT. Cheesy foods, greasy all types. And if you didn't have your period once you get it all your food you eat will come back
eat carbs. and drink milk soda etc. try walking start slow and hey hun:) dont obsess thats the worst thing to do just relax and enjoy things
drink this drink called ensure

I am very lanky. How can I gain Weight without using weight gain pills or powders?

Answer:
Eat a lot of chicken breast and eggs my friend and you will get big- its basically a substitute for the protein powder. When you eat just make sure there is protein in it. A good serving of protein is above 17Grams perserving. And lift weight, No cardio.
eat fast food and candy and drink a lot of soda
Eat "Zero" candy bars and peanut butter sandwiches. They will pack some weight on you.
Well, this one is kind of a no brainer.EAT!
eat a lot of fatty foods, and alot of carbohydrates, drink cokes and eat right before you go to bed. it would be alot easier and healthier if you took weight gainer and protein and worked out
Forget what other people say about eatting lots of junk food, yeah you will gain weight but it its not the least bit healthy!! Talk to your doctor!! Eat healthy foods and exercize!! I hope this helps!!
Work out at the gym.If you eat a lot of junk food, you will put on fat.If you start working out at the gym,you will start building muscle.
bee propolis athletes use it and it's safe unless you are instructed not to take it maybe as per allergy to bees
Eat food with lots of calories. But make sure they are healthy. For example: mushroom pizza, or steak with mashed patatos. Being lanky is no problem at all, if you eat at least 2500 calories a day, don't exercise, and abstain from green tea, then your metabolism will catch up with you and you may gain a lot of weight.
Eat lots of pizza, chicken wings, french fries, ice cream and drink alot of dark beer. These foods really made me gain alot of weight. Enjoy!
O.K what ever you do please don't take any weight gain pills or powders, you can hurt tour body really bad. I'm really small I ware a size five sometimes six and it is hard to keep weight on. If your very active and always on the run your not going to pick up much weight. I felt the same way you feel now and I went to my doctor and he almost laught at me. Believe it or not we are healthy being small and lanky, I weight 138 at 5'7 and half the people in this world are literally killing themselves to be us. I'm 26 and my doctor said that my body has'nt slowed down yet and that's a very good thing. Exspecially if your over 21 some people are far to big for their frame and they end up with bad health problems. So my advice to you do what I do," EAT WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT TO EAT"! Just make sure you see your doctor for your anual check up twice a year.
I'm also trying to gain weightYou really ought to aim to consume 2500 calories a day especially because you're underweight.
The average person takes in 2000 cals a day, but we need to add 500 to that.Tip: JUNK FOOD is a no-no, this is goes straight to the arteries and is definately not the way to gain healthy weight. These are foods you should look out for and try to eat:Wholemeal bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, peanut butter, mayonaise, nuts, eggs, cheese, milk, butter, fruit, salad dressings etc.Just a little thing like adding an extra dollop of mayonaise to your sandwich will give you a good calorie boost.I've started munching on a pack of peanuts a day along with my regular 3 meals and other odd snacks.
A pack of peanuts contain around 590g...well the regular sized ones, you can buy the bigger ones which weigh about 300g...and therefore have like 1500calories in them, but you won't be able to consume all that in a day LOL!If you want, you can start weight lifting...this builds muscles and muscles weigh more than fat.Anyway, i'm going to stop here because i can feel myself losing calories as i type and i need them to gain weight! Hahaall the best (=

I am usually hungry every 2 hours - is this too small of a time gap between meals?

About 5 months ago I started eating smaller and throughout the day. Now, I usually eat (almost strictly) every two hours. I eat healthily and I stop when I'm satisfied. Is this OK? I know that it's good to eat often throughout the day, as in 4 - 6 times a day. And I know that some even suggest eating every 2 - 3 hours. But, overall, is eating every 2 hours a good thing? I just don't want to hear later on in life that because... bla bla bla.Thx a mill.
Answer:
Just Drink a bottle of water in between your hunger pain it will fill you.or eat a fruit. But if your really hungry just eat 6 small meals a day.
as the size of your palm or eat popcorn till your ready for your main meal.Mrs.Boea
Everyone is different, and you will be different at different ages/times of your life. If you are not gaining weight and are healthy-then it is probably good for you. I hope you don't eat while you are sleeping, LOL!
Pay attention to how you feel afterwards. If you feel bad, gain or lose lots of weight, or have other signs/symptoms, then stop and try something that is more 'you'. Live well, do good and love deep.
It's fine. Doctors recommend eating 6 small meals a day not 3 huge meals. if you spread it out over 12 hours, you're fine! Eating that often actually keeps your metabolism up!
If they're small meals, you're fine. If, however, you're eating regular-sized meals, then you'll balloon up like crazy! Many physicians and dietitians recommend the exact eating pattern you're following- 4 to 6 small %26 healthy meals spaced out throughout the day.
Yeah I get worried about that too but if you do eat every 2 hours it is ok as long as you eat something healthy. But be careful because too much of anything (even fruits and veggies) is bad for you. If you still aren't sure then maybe you could ask your doctor the next time you see them.

I am trying to stay away from fried foods to lose weight/fat.should that include anything stir-fried?

Answer:
yes.
stir fry is generally better because it's different oil most of the time.obviously the best stir fry would be one that you make at home because you know exactly what's going into it
Stir fry can be good for you too... here are some things you can check out on modifications to make and how to make it..
Good luck. http://chinesefood.about.com/b/a/257573.http://www.healthrecipes.com/stir_fry_re...check out this book
http://www.amazon.com/healthy-wok-stir-f...
If you want to stir-fry then use water in a nonstick pan on low heat, it will slowly cook them, and then later you can add a little olive oil to the vegies and (meat)...if you wish. it will low in fat and still delicious. And of course, your seasonings.
Depends on what is in the stir fry and what it's being fried with. Some stir fries are fairly healthy if they are using an oil like Extra Virgin Olive Oil because that is a heart healthy oil. If you are having stir fried veggies and are using EVOO to cook them, it should be ok to have some of that. Be sure to also stay away from things that are breaded. Best of luck!

I am trying to lose weight. Other than eating, what can I do to make hunger pains go away?

Answer:
Well when your hungery eat fruit or something healthy, and drink LOTS of water!!!!!
If you're following a sensible weight loss plan, you shouldn't have hunger pains. Sounds like you need to eat more; stick to healthy stuff like lean protein, vegetables, plenty of water, legumes, etc.
* Spreading your daily calorie amount among several small meals can help curb binges. This will rasie your metabolism, and you will be less tempted to binge when your body gets a regular supply of food.* Minimize your intake of bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. * Add at least one large serving of any vegetable to your main meal. Fibrous, water-lade vegetables, such as broccoli, spinach or cucumbers can create a feeling of bulk within your stomach. The excess fibre will also help to push food through the body at a faster pace, leaving less time for fats to be absorbed.* Don鈥檛 try to fast for days and days. First of all, fasting for long periods of time actually slows down the metabolism, second, it increases binge cravings immensely, and third, it affects your mood greatly. Instead of being happy for losing weight, you鈥檒l be depressed simply because of lack of food.* In between each mouthful of food that you eat, take a sip of water. It fills you up and slows down your eating so that you stay in control and the meal doesn鈥檛 turn into a flat-out binge.* Weight training will raise your metabolism. * When drinking water, drink ICE COLD water... your body has to burn calories to keep your body temperature up.* Don't take laxatives. Laxatives can cause serious medical complications, and you actually gain weight by taking them. There are natural laxatives though, found in foods like prunes and grapes. Also, there are certain sugar-free cough drops and candies that produce a laxative effect because of the sugar substitute used in them.* Try to eat in the same place every day. Somewhere solitary. Not in front of the TV or computer.* Sleep at least 6 hours a night. Less than 6 hours sleep a night stimulates appetite by 15%. A lot of people with eating disorders suffer from insomnia, but it really is important to get as much sleep as possible.* Drink hot beverages, especially in fall and in winter. Hot liquids expand the intestinal tract and make you feel full. A warm drink can help take the edge off your hunger, preventing overindulging later. In fact, soup can do the same. Bullion cubes are only 5 calories a cube, and they taste wonderful.* Focus especially on the first three bites. After that, the excitement of eating will begin to slowly subside, and you'll probably be content with a smaller portion.* Spicy foods raise your metabolism and burn slightly more calories than mild foods.* When you go out, take only a few bucks with you. When you walk past the pastry shops, you can't afford anything.* Before you dig into that carton of ice cream, bag of chips, etc., take a deep breath and count to one hundred. Usually, by the time you stop counting, you will have convinced yourself that you don't really need it.* Eat your sweets at breakfast.* Track your triggers. Log them in a notebook, post them in your journal, whatever. This way you鈥檒l know when a trigger is going to hit, and you鈥檒l know in advance to keep yourself occupied during that time.* Sit up straight. You'll burn at least ten percent more calories sitting upright than reclining.* Fiber pills help to boost the metabolism* Drink tea whenever you get intense cravings 鈥?it鈥檚 low in calories, and it fills you up.* Diet soda, contrary to what it says on the bottle, is not calorie-free. It is, however, still low in calories, (one calorie a can), and though it鈥檚 not as good as drinking water, and it may prevent you from binging on chocolate.* Green tea is not only an antioxidant, you can burn up to 110 extra calories a day by drinking several cups.* Low calorie hot chocolate is great for suppressing those chocolate cravings, and it makes you feel full.* When you have a craving for sweets, eat 'crystal light' sugar free candies. They're delicious, and are HALF the calories of normal hard candies.* Coffee! It will curb your appetite.* Drink plenty of water, 8 glasses a day. Drinking water ensures that the kidneys are functioning properly. If you are not fully hydrated, this means that the kidneys are not working to their full capacity and results are that the waste products are then dumped onto your liver, which is where the fat process actually occurs. Water speeds up your metabolism.* Exercise and sweat. When you sweat you burn calories, obviously. Don't overdo it, because it may result in a heat stroke.* If you have a craving for sugar, try fat-free, sugar free Jell-O, it鈥檚 only 10 cals per serving. If you want you can eat the whole bowl and it's only 40 cals.* Remember, out of sight is out of mind. If there are goodies lying around on the counters or table, put them away and/or hide them. That way whenever you walk through the kitchen, you won't be tempted.* Make vegetable soup with low-cal veggies cut up in chunks. You can have a full bowl and feel full, but you haven鈥檛 eaten very many calories.* Take zinc and potassium supplements. These work well with kelp in raising metabolism and mobilizing fat.* Three product recommendations: smart water (0 calories, but has electrolytes ), caffeinated peppermints (sugar free - 3 for 5 calories, at www.peppermints.com), and antacid gum .* When you worry about eating something fatty, start sucking on some ice.* Not eating 3 hours before bedtime is something you may have heard that will help you lose weight. There is much truth in this too, for more than one reason. If you go to bed shortly after a big meal, you don't sleep as well, and you also don't have the chance to work off your meal. * Exercise first thing in the morning. If you haven't eaten after your evening meal, your body is fasting. If you exercise before breakfast, it forces your body to burn fat.* Try to avoid sugar sweetened foods. * Wait 20 minutes between servings. Your brain takes at least 20 minutes to register that you're full.* Don't ever skip breakfast. Your body's metabolism rate slows down at night and doesn't speed up again until you eat something.* Right after eating a meal, go straight to the bathroom to brush, floss, and moutwash so your mouth is feeling nice and clean. This makes it less appealing to eat more. * Keep a diary of your eating and feelings, far away from the kitchen. Document everything you eat.* Eat your meals on a sandwich or a dessert plate. If your mind sees a full plate, it will register a full serving and you don't seem to be as hungry when finished.* Keep variety in your diet. Make sure that at each meal is a variety of temperatures, textures, and flavors. This satisfies all cravings, you you will find that you eat less at each meal, and are not hungry for snacks.* Eat up to 6 veggies and 3 fruits a day.* Limit alcohol. Alcoholic drinks have many calories.* Shop for groceries only after eating. You will be less likely to buy food impulsively, especially food you don't need.* Schedule your exercise time just as you plan other activities of the day. Treat this time as an important appointment you don't want to miss. * Take a shower or bath when a food craving strikes. It will relax you and keep your whole body out of trouble until the craving fades.* Phone a talkative friend when you want to binge. Stay on the phone until the craving fades.* Give yourself a manicure when a food craving strikes, applying extra layers of slow-drying nail polish. It will keep your hands occupied.* Eat fresh fruit instead of drinking fruit juice. Juice is often sweetened but fresh fruits have natural sugars.* Make sure your plate is half veggies at both lunch and dinner.* Try two weeks without sweets. It's amazing how your cravings vanish.* Read a magazine to distract yourself when you crave junk food.* Instead of buying junk food, buy something for yourself instead.* Take a nap when you get cravings. Sometimes you crave fatty food because you're tired.
eat oranges! trust me, they're small but they give you a feeling of fullness. and drink 8 glasses of water a day, as it will help you to absorb nutrients and vitamins better.
drink water. Are you eating 5 or six meals/snack/shake a day? Usually three meals with one shake and a snack or two is a good way to stay keep hunger pain away!
umm you can try rolling up in a ball and laying there for a while or finding something to do that you love to take your mind off it or sometimes sleeping helps
there are lots of useful tips on this site:

Hunger pains, usually, are a sign that you need food. If you're not starving yourself, and you weren't previously a major overeater, you probably shouldn't be experiencing hunger pains. Make sure that you're eating three to five small meals a day... lean meat, complex carbs, fresh fruits and veggies, and getting exercise (about thirty minutes a day.) and you should stop experiencing those pains. If they are still there, try drinking hot tea (without cream/sugar) when you have them. Green and herbal teas are the best.Good Luck!!
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
we take butter milk, which is good nourishment plus dietary food supplement,. You need to take this when you feel hungry, and the lemon juice is also good! And water, water, water, plenty of them is a must!
Sometimes you aren't having hunger pains it's often mistaken for thirst , if you get them have a glass of water if they don't go away then have something to eat or you will just convince your body you are starving and it will keep a hol;d of everything and you want to lose gl

I am trying to lose weight. My problem has always been not drinking water and no excersise.?

I eat very healthy foods and very small proportions. I normally intake about 1500 calories per day. I weigh 215 lbs and am 5'5". I started drinking water today 80 ounces and worked out on a treadmill for 15 mins, elliptical for 5 minutes and walked 1.25 mile. I plan on keeping this up everyday because I need to lose alot of weight by August 21 5.5 weeks. Does anyone have an estimate on what amount of weight I should expect to lose in this timeframe?
Answer:
There are too many factors to give a number of how much weight you will lose. Just remember calories in, calories out. If you lower your calorie intake, and raise your calorie output, you should begin losing weight. But, to better answer your question:1 lb of fat contains about 3500 cals. Your daily calorie intake in the recent past has maintained your weight at 215 lbs, right? So, now you need to figure out how many calories you were consuming a day before you started your diet, lets say 2,500 per day. Basically, the 3500 calories have to come out of either exercise or your diet over time. Its not that clean cut. Metabolism and genetics are huge factors.
I heard that it isn't healthy to lose more than 2lbs a week...be careful.
You can estimate 1-2 pounds per week (6-12 total) based on your diet and exercise...see if you can add a bit more time on the cardio as much as possible, even if you have to do multiple times a day or something lol.

I am trying to lose weight, and I have PCOS and I am Hypothyroid.HELP!?

I used to be 115 lbs and very athletic. In my early 20's I had a baby and about two years later with all the symtoms of being hypothroid I was diagonosed with hishmotto's hypothroidism and later that year with PCOS. No matter how I cut back on food intake and try to exersise, it seems like nothing works. I have put on nearly a 100 lbs and I have to do something. Any ideas, please?
Answer:
There are many things you can do. Always test TSH in the morning. If you are on a T4 medication, you will need the morning TSH to be around 1.0. If you are on a T4/T3 medication, you will need the free t4 midrange and the free t3 high in range.About the PCOS, are you on Metformin ER? I got the thyrid stuff all straight, but I still couldn't lose weight until I started Metformin ER. I'm down about 20 pounds since I started it 3 years ago. Yes, 3 years is a lomg time to only have lost 20 pounds, but I could not loe anything before even with diet and exercise.Exercise for 1 hour at least 3-4 days a week.Reduce carbsAvoid soy and fluoride.Thyroid links below
Research PCOS and you should find information about low carb diets. Many times insulin resistance accompanies PCOS. A low carb diet can many times reverse PCOS. I was diagnosed with PCOS, had irregular menstrual cycles, and gained weight. After adopting a low carb lifestyle, I was able to regulate my cylce and drop some weight.Try this link http://www.soulcysters.com/
Been there! I have PCOS and everyday is a battle against cravings. The only thing that works for me is South Beach! No not Atkins. I can't have sugar it just sets me up to fail. The more carbs I have the more cravings at night. The key is learning the difference between good and bad carbs and the foods that cause you to crave bad carbs. I started out 158 and did south beach and cardio 4 days a week for 20 min. and weight training 3 days a week for 20min. I lost 50lbs. in 4 months. I also went from a size 14 to a 4. I'm back up to a 6 because I've been slacking on the diet so I'm back in the gym and on my south beach.
The best support group for fellow PCOS'ers and south beach dieters is http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/foru...Good luck!
I am also hypothyroid, which does make it difficult to lose weight. I recently started a nutritional program. The first six weeks I lost 20 pounds and 19 inches. I feel great, have lots more energy and have been able to do without two medications I was taking. This is a program for health, but weight loss of at least 15 pounds a month is a very common result. If you are interested in knowing more, go to www.rNutrition.net or contact me at Nutrition.Heals@comcast.net. It is working for me!!This is a very high quality program and it may be the answer for you, too! Best of luck.
I too was very active growing up and liked sports etc.. still do but i had a tumor on my thyroid so they took it out and now im hypothroid too and nothing seems to work anymore.

I am trying to lose weight but I hate the feeling of being hungry all the time. What can I do?

And I dont want to eat gross foods.
Answer:
Well, you need to eat. And be creative.
You can cook meals that actually taste great and are good for you. I love chicken and vegetables mixed together. Cook with different oils to give different tastes.
Fiber fills you up faster so try buying breads and other foods high in fiber. Most fibrous foods taste good, to me anyways. Read the nutrition labels on foods and you'll get an idea of what is and isn't high in fiber.Fiber sources include some fruits and veggies, whole wheat breads, popcorn, or go out and buy some FiberOne bars.I also think you should try eating smaller but more meals throughout the day. For example, instead of three 500 calorie meals, try five 300 calorie meals. Just split your wanted calorie intake into five or six meals.Hope that helps.
Drink more water. Three benefits 1)most people don't drink the recommended amount anyway. 2) It will substain you 3) It will increase your metabolism.
I'v had people tell me (because I don't ever diet...should, but don't) that drinking lots of water during the day helps you to feel full. Also, before you do eat, drink a large glass of water. That will help to fill you up faster. Good luck to you.
A good start would be to start increasing the amount of vegetables you eat. Leafy greens like spinach, broccoli, cauliflower, and asparagus are very low in calories, high in fiber and vitamins. It is the fiber in these foods that help keep you full over longer periods of time as they are very bulky. Stay away from liquid calories like fruit juices or soda they don't fill you up and hinder your weight loss goals. A good rule of thumb to follow is the less ingredients on the package the better.
Try eating popcorns with no toppings or flavors.

I am trying to lose weight and i need your help?

does this sound like a good plan? ; i am 276 pounds 5 ft 9 in my ideal weight is 175 so i am 100 pounds overweight....all because off birth control lack of exercise and fast food everyday at my desk job, so a week ago i stopped eating fast food and soda pop, i am cutting down on what i eat (i am addicted to food and binge) so far successful? also i am going to start a half hour of exercise every day
Answer:
sounds like a pretty good start. I'm a binge eater also. I 'm 5'5 and I used to weigh 199 pounds I've so far lost 5 pounds. Remember though 3,500 calories= 1 pound so you have to make sure your burning enough calories. I get the treadmill everyday I started out with 30 minutes. Each day I ad another 5 minutes to my workout out so I can build up my stamina, and it looks like it's paying off.
That sounds like a VERY VERY VERY!! good plan!!
Sounds good to me and good luck:)
start out with 30 mins of exercise then up to an hour if you want better resluts
Hi i just want to tell you i have the same problem they say i am 75 pounds over weight i have tried weight watchers it is great i lost 10 pounds in 4 weeks that is alot. That is a wonderful program if i can do it anyone can good luck and remember why you want to lose the weight
Sure! Cutting out soda and junk food will do wonders. Excersize 30 minutes a day to get your heart pumping. Don't stop eating all together though! Your body's metabolism will slow down and you'll gain even more weight, because you will go into "survival mode". Drink a LOT of water each day, it helps you feel full and is healthy. Did you know that sometimes when you feel hungry your body is actually craving water? And if you really, really want that quaterpounder with cheese remember this: "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels!"Good luck.
Sorry to break it to you, but 175 is a little bit overweight. 165 is healthier. Try for that. Also, see your doctor and L.A. weightloss. I didn't know birth control makes you gain weight... thanks for the advice.
I'm 5'4" and 220, I think you have already started on the best plan. It's best (from what i've read and what has worked before for me) the make smaller changes and build on them. Someone else mentioned weight watchers, I have done it a few times before and always lost weight, it's a GREAT plan and really helps. You are on the right track, just remember to drink lots of water! Good luck to you!
to loose weight: cut down on the sugar and get exercise. Don't push your self too hard to loose weight though because the stress will have a bad effect on you and make you gain more. cutting down on what you eat is not necessary. as long as it is low in sugar and high in vitamins and such. once you cut down the fats and sugars you will no longer crave them as much so eating one piece of chocolate will satisfy you for the day.. if you do like chocolate try eating 75% dark chocolate. its good for you.as for the addiction thing: no you are not just eat healthy and don't worry about it. instead of getting fast food try packing your own lunch or have you job ordering healthier foods.also it is cheaper than doing weight watchers or anything like that... i honestly think those programs sometimes make you gain some weight because they put pressure on you
I wouldn't know how you feel, I hate almost every kind of food, but i have no eating dissorder. When I eat food, I puke, well not always but sometimes. But I just wanted to say GOOD FOR YOU!! YOU"LL LOSE WEIGHT IN NO TIME! Try weight watchers, and Jenny Craig!
I would suggest a cleansing diet. I lost 12 pounds in 9 days and then 28 pounds in less than a month. I also lost a lot of inches too! I learned that cleansing will help the body get rid of impurities. Impurities come from a lot of things like fast food, pollution, food additives and preservatives and lots of other things. The impurities get stored in the fat in our body. To get rid of the fat, we have to get rid of the impurities by cleansing the body. This made sense to me and I decided to try a cleanse program and it worked. The weight came off fast and this kept me motivated to keep going, not like other diets where the weight loss it too slow. I did Jenny Craig, Weight Watcher and Medifast. If you want to learn more call the toll free number 1-877-587-4647 or check out the website. This was the first time I ever did a cleanse, it was easy and I feel better. Good luck whatever you decide to do! http://diet4cleansing.com
Good for you thats the way to do it. I would also recommend somethinge else. The best I've seen out there is a book I just finnished reading. It has everything for your body and what programs to do to get the effects you want. Has illustrations too so you can follow and meals etc.. all good for the body. I recommend Sly moves You can buy it at amazon.comDefinately worth it in my opinion.Good luck
hii,

I am trying to lose baby fat right now. Help?

I am 185 pounds and I am 5'1 which means I'm really over weight and my health is at risk. I'm trying to loss at least 50 pounds not fast but indefinetly. I want to know if anyone has any good diet plans that include exercise routines and meal plans.
Answer:
Its good that you're not looking for a quick fix. People who have the most success with weight loss are people who change their lifestyle habits. The best way to lose weight is with diet and exercise combined. Most people don't have 4 hours a day to devote to the gym. But you don't need much time to get a good workout. Make sure that you're not making excuses for yourself and devote at least a half hour a day to exercise, whether you get up a half hour earlier everyday or stop at the gym on your way home from work. If you don't have much time to exercise try to do 20 mins to a half hour of cardio every other day and 20 mins to half hour of weight training the days you don't do cardio. Adding muscle will help you burn more calories all the time which will add to your weight loss. If you do this for 5 days I promise you you will feel and see a difference in your body.Remember that exercise won't do anything without a healthy diet. If you eat any fast food stop immediately. Incorporate healthy fruits and veggies in your diet anywhere you can. Such as a salad before every meal and a banana with breakfast, an apple for a snack, etc. They fill you up faster and keep you fuller longer. To suppress hunger try eating some oatmeal with protein powder mixed in for breakfast, the combination of fiber and protein will keep you fuller longer.
Hi
A good trick is to do regular cardiovascular exercise (sweat every other day at least), sleep well and long at night, drink lots of water and add many fresh fruits and vegetables to your eating habbits. Another good trick is to reduce your intake of sugar and cookies, crackers, chips, ets. And reduce your intake of bad fats (fats that your body doesn't know what to do with (icecream, the fat that is used for cooking food, shortening, etc). BUT don't cut yourself drastically from anything because things could end up worse. Just try and gain good life habits that you will gain gradually in your life and be able to keep.Good luck
I just had a baby three months ago, I just Started the Kimkins plan three weeks ago. I love it. I have lost a little over 18 pounds safely. Kimkins was featured in Womans World magazine last month. Check out the website and the before and after photos. Good Luckhttp://www.kimkins.com/726.html...
really easy thing that worked for me. I walk briskly for 30 min a day. I eat a light breakfast, a snack, lunch,a snack then dinner. Now you have to cut out junk food and soda and have atleast day to eat it so not to fall off the wagon. Cut all portions of food you eat in half and drink plenty of water. The basic principle is less calories and junk. Best thing that will make a immediate impact is cutting out fruit drinks and soda. Reducing your portions sizes you can still eat what you want but you have to make sure you get enough exercise.
you know i did weight watchers. and in the first week i lost 5 pounds!!
it was great i was able to eat what ever i wanted to but just kept track of it by counting the points!!
i even got rewarded for my loss.
it was so easy, and with excercise i even lost more!
i lost 17 pounds i one month!
i was so happy when i first started it, i was able to eat all my fav foods without giving anything up, i just ate smaller portions.
its about 11$ a week sometimes that have special where it will be 7$.
go to www.weightwatchers.com and check it out!
it might be for you!
i loved it!!
and i feel great, and going to the meetings made me work harder and feel better about myself!
try it! even just for a month!
Good luck. and i hope you reach your goal!
find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

I am trying to lose 40 pds fast but dont know where to begin could someone please help?

I want to mainly lose weight in my arms and thighs and stomach area as well as my face a little bit. Its just hard because i dont know where to begin or whats da best methods( diet pills, starvation) I would like to drop the weight by september. So if you have any good advice please help i wanna begin right away.
Answer:
Best bet is just to go on a diet and cardio, Dont starve yourself that is a big no no in losing weight- reason why i say that is because when you starve yourself you lose muscle more than the fat so the end result would be that you look like you do now execpt at a smaller weight no use for that. My solution is to eat correctly, Chicken breast, fish, stuff with protein in it so when you do start doing your cardio you will lose only the fat and not the muscle you have, And when i say cardio i do not mean jogging, jogging puts a huge strain on your knees if your not used to it and can cause shin split, plus when you jog you work out your heart instead of losing weight. Walking is going to make you lose more weight because it is burning fat instead of working out your heart. And for the diet pills they only work if you work, they make it were you lose more weight than just doing it alone. They wont work if you just sit there waiting to lose weight so get out there and do some cardio if your going to take the pill. I would suggest lipo 6, or ripped fuel they work pretty good at getting you cut. If you want to look like you lost some weight just tan and it will put shadows on your body and make you looked more ripped as well. Well best of look on losing the weight.
Hypnosis, try it. Go to a professional
hypnotist.
You won't lose 40 by September. It would bad for you..heartwise, etc. Eat right (veggies, fruits, no fried foods and very little refined things like suagr, flour items, cookies, candy, etc.), Drink LOTS of water and WALK. Walking is great! 2-3 lbs a week is safe.
Try to do yoga and eat the special k breakfast ceral i lost 20lbs in 2 weeks!!!!!
I have lost a total of 120 pounds so far.
I lost 105 pounds in my first 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water. It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me. Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

http://profiles.yahoo.com/gorillamyke...Stay motivated, and get up and walk every day. I seriously lost all my weight starting off my day on my walk. Good LUCK!
Do not use Diet Pills.1 Break your relationship with Mcdonalds, Burger King, KFC and other fast food restaurant.Eat only when you are hungry. Do not eat snacks. Drink a lot of water, approximately 8 glasses per day. Eat Eggs and Toasts, but do not eat Bacons. Drink Orange Juice, but do not drink Milk Shakes. For Dinner, eat Baked Chicken and Fish. Do not fry the Chicken or Fish.Eat like that and you will be fine. However, do not eat cookies.
Neither diet pills or starvation, just good old diet and exercise. Diet pills do not work. Starvation will work... until you start eating again, then your body will store everything you eat causing you to gain more weight than you lost. The best thing to do is to eat 5 small meals a day. For example: Breakfast-cereal, Snack- A piece of fruit or a cup of yogurt. Lunch- a salad, snack- a granola bar or some veggies, Dinner- Chicken and veggies no butter
Doing this keeps your metabolism going. Your body gets used to being fed every few hours and burns off the food you eat knowing it will be fed again in a few hours. You want to burn more calories than you consume. Eat about 1400-1700 calories a day and start working out. You need to do a minimum of 20 minutes of cardio for it to be effective. Also do light weight training to tone up your problem areas. As you loose weight your body will be more flabby so you need to do light weights to keep toned.Good luck
I lost 30 lbs quickly, healthily, and it was the start of a new life for me. I can't tell you more without violating the terms of this forum, so you'll have to write to me. I will tell you it's not pills, chemicals, stimulants, or starvation. I'm in the maintaining phase now (and have been since last November) and I lost two pounds yesterday... so, yeah. Let's talk.
Very few people have the motivation to continually stay on diet pills and/or starvation diets. And the moment they get off them-- they gain all the weight back. And more. Why? Well, the stuff in diet pills don't stay in your body forever. If you use diet pills and eat the way you used to, your pounds will come back when you're off of the pill. And starvation diets? Well, if you manage to survive when you get off that diet, once again, you'll gain back EVERY SINGLE POUND. Because you'll be starving your body. Your body will grab every single bit a food that enters your body and turn it into fat so it can survive. So no. Not smart. You really think those two (diet pills, starvation) are the best methods? You must be really uneducated then. What about exercise? Eating healthy? Sure, they require more motivation. But if you're serious about this, you should take the right and healthy way.(BTW, the abbreviation for pound is lb, not pd)
I recently lost 35lb by doing weight watchers online. It is very inexpensive, healthy, and works great!! It took me from Feb. 5th- June 5th to loose the weight but, I did not have a time limit so, I probably did not go at it as hard as I could have. I am still loosing and have come to the point where exercising is helping a lot. How fast you lose verses how fast I lost also depends on your body size. I was not obese (size 14) just meaty for my height (5-5) and body type. Good luck!!
I have the answer if you want to do it.I am on a diet and I have lost 31 lbs. in 2 months and 10 days and still losing.E mail me and I will give you all the info.It is a healthy diet.

I am trying to loose weight what is a good program?

i am a diabetic wit high blood pressure and really want to get some of the weight off and can only do very little exercise should i use diet pills or what
Answer:
i wouldn't get to involved in pills, 97 percent of them are a rip off, and they cost way to much. with the 3 percent left that might help a bit, hardly any of them keep the weight off. i am not diabetic myself but i know someone who is, and he keeps the weight off by eating light and healthy, he hardly ever snacks, and he keeps himself busy at work and home, but i don't know if i could ever stay as disciplined as him. i would say that you would have to get involved in some kind of exercise if you want to loose the pounds. just do it during commercials or you can even just tighten your muscles while doing daily activities such as work. handweights are easy to do also while watching tv. i don't know very much about the effects of diabetes on weight, but maybe another answer can be more helpful than mine. you could also ask your doctor.
Im naturally thin but i eat all the time. I think as long as you keep your metabolism up, eat healthy, drink plenty of water no softdrinks %26 exercise reguarly, try pilates.
To successfully lose weight, you must carry out
a plan to balance your caloric intake with exercise.
Ideally, dieting should be done by eating a nutritionally
balanced, low-calorie diet and increasing physical activity.

You can get to toning your butt so that although you are losing the weight, it can be firm. A nice pair of support drawers can make a behind for many. Don't stop losing weight and start a toning regimen so that you can shape up what you have left.
dancing, walking,sit-ups, swimming,running, or treadmill.http://fittv.discovery.com/
I'm pretty sure that's one of those things that just happens. Many studies have shown that you can't lose weight in a specific area. I could do nothing but calve raises and lose the fat from my belly. It isn't about burning fat. It is where you store fat. Your body will store it were you are disposed to. What you would be better doing is working your butt to define the muscles (which will make them bigger and more defined.) Working your abs and legs will cause them to get bigger which, in some people, makes that area look fatter, because the fat is sitting on thicker muscle tissue.

I am trying to get into shape but!?

Everytime I get on the running machine at the gym, my intentions are to run for 20 minutes. But after only five minutes I feel like giving up. Could I have lazy bones?.
Answer:
Yes you do... ;) And so do I... You need to find some motivation, because its ALL mental. I found that it actually helps me if someone is running with me.. OR if I am trying to teach someone to work out. Once I know someone is watching me, I give it my 110% - it really is all mental honey.I was gonna say, try changing your workout music and dont give up until it plays at least four songs, or watch a tv show while you run and dont stop until its over... but you may be like "f this, im going to bed". so maybe you are burning yourself out. Try getting on a different machine, like the bike, stairs or elliptical for one day. If you hate it or become impatient for it, maybe you'll get that boost you need for the treadmill again.

I am trying to gain chest muscle?

i have been trying to get chest muscle
i did lots of push ups and now i have a clear cut in between, but they aren't really big
what should i do now? Many people told me to do bench press with lots of weights, but i don't like it. any other suggestions?
Answer:
along with doing a lot of reps with pushups also try to get a weighted vest. that will not allow you to do as many, at least until u get strong enough. if you dont have a weighted vest, just put a weight on your back. take creatine... quicker recovery time and also over 30% more muscle growth.

I am totally retaining water. I know to cut salt, what can I do to make it go away naturally?

Answer:
oddly enough, drink more water. it flushes it from your system.
Drink distilled water and deionized water as this will carry away the sodium.
you need to sweat! take a brisk 30 minute walk everyday outside. Walking around the house from room to room won't do it. The walking must be continuous. You start to burn fat after 20 minutes of exercise for every minute thereafter of exercise.
I was retaining water for months at a time and a family friend who is a nurse recommended drinking a glass half-filled with water, half-filled with lemon juice. I can't explain the mechanism of action here, but I can tell you that I drank the water/lemon juice mix twice per day for two days and the extra water was gone.

I am too skinny. Need to increase weight. Female, 35 yrs. 171 cm, 43 kg.?

Answer:
Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%. Chew each morsel at least 32 times to activate ur body to generate signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.Take light exercises and brisk walks regularly preferably twice a day.U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry.
Try to accept how God has created u. U will find a lot of medicines in the market but they gives dangerous side effects in later stage so just try to take some more protin foods and make urself healthy.
eat more
i think that the below website will help you to find the right solution.
you eat chocolate and soft drinks and rice and more sleep only 15 days increase your weight more

I am too skinny!!!?

I eat like a cow, but my metabolism (spelling?) is SOOOO FAST! I cant gain weight! Any ideas??+ im pretty athletic... but still!
Answer:
First off, I wouldn't worry about trying to gain weight. As you grow older, you won't have that problem. If you had to, go to a store like GNC and check out their weight gain options. Or another trick would be to eat a lot of high carb food like pasta or rice and go to sleep directly afterwards. That is one of the techniques that sumo wrestlers use.
enjoy it no
you will grateful for it later
it's this drink called suplimead i hear it works go to suplimead.com
You need to eat more calories than you burn. Eat protein to help build muscle.
Look up bodybuilding.
there is some girls that would kill to have your problem! maybe you should work out more and gain some muscle?
So long as you are eating right, don't worry. There will be a time when you age, your metabolism will decrease on its own. So, just be happy with it now! Enjoy it while it lasts. If you are really scared that something is wrong, go to a doctor.

I am thinking of going on a asian food diet?

Mostly Chinese, Japanese and Korean food prepared at home with ingredients from my local Asian food mart. The reason I picked this is when I was living in Korea, almost everyone was thin due to the low meat, high veggie diet of the culture. Plus I like Asian food so I conclude it will be an easy diet to stick to. My question is since it is a diet based mostly on vegetables, is how can I incorporate protein and proper nutrition with little or no meat? My other question is what suggestions you have on how to save money while buying these foods and what items are healthy, yet can be stocked up and be kept the longest (has long shelf life?) Also, what are some good yet simple recipes to start off on for me to learn? I am doing this to lose weight and was wondering while eating these foods, I can do so in the most healthy way possible.
Answer:
I LOVE tofu. There are so many recipes that include it. And any recipe that you like that contains meat---you can substitute tofu and it will be awesome.
There is also seafood. And sushi and sashimi is very healthy. There are thousands of recipes online.
they use tofu in place of meat alot in asian cusine

I am thinking about using creatine and i need to know more about it?

i am thinking about using creatin but i dont really know much about it.
I need to know more about what it does to you. good and bad
i need to know when i should take it.
i need to know how it does what it does.
and i need to know about how much it costs.
Answer:
Take twenty grams per day for one week. This is referred to as the loading phase. Then take 6 grams per day for 3 months. This is the maintainance phase Followed by one month of none at all. Then repeat this cycle. You take it before and after exercise. The main benefit of taking creatine is that it increases muscle development. Some studies suggest by as much as 17% There are no known side-effects. (Creatine is a naturally occuring substance within the muscles)As for the cost I recently bought a weeks supply for the loading phase for 拢10. And 120 capsules for 拢14.99, for the maintainance phase.
It's a one of the safer supplements. Your body makes to. Just use it with commonsense and you will be fine.
A couple of interesting linkshttp://www.raysahelian.com/creatine.html...http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn40...
http://www.maximuscle.com/cyclone?tc=gbc...Use this stuff, Cyclone. It has creatine in it and is one of the best all round training supplements there is.Creatine is made in the liver and then stored in the muscles. It only acts at the beginning of a workout to boost energy in the muscles, basically. That is why you want to take it in a form like Cyclone, with protein powder and sugars for longer term energy and recovery.

I am think of getting a Treadmill or a Elliptical Training. Which one would be better? Thanks?

Answer:
I have both as well.I just read an article in a fitness magazine in which they burn about the same amount of calories; running/elliptical; however, I find I lose much more weight when I am running on the treadmill and walking uphill - interval training - the only way I will work on a treadmill is hard so if you are older and want to burn a lot of calories; I would recommend the elliptical - we all know we cannot run forever. There are a TON of articles in Fitness, Shape and Planet Muscle that address this question...hope this helps...
Ellipticals are easier on the joints
If you are older or have any weak joints or anything an elliptical may be better because its lower impact than a treadmill
i have both! the eliptical burns more calories. the tredmill is better for a lazier day
They're really very different and I could never pick which I like best. I like to run on my treadmill, but the elliptical is good if you want a less intense workout.
They are equally good, but an elliptical has less impact so your joints don't hurt as much.

I am sweating like crazy...?

If you sweat alot and drink alot of water, when you sweat, do you lose weight?? Do you also lose weight if you pee?
Answer:
The short answer is yes, but this is merely water weight not fat. Your body is over 80% water. When you perspire you loose water. It is very important to keep yourself adequately hydrated especially if you are trying to reduce fat by exercising. Also, keep in mind it takes a long time to put weight on and it will take just as long to get it off. Most fast weight lose is just water lose and it will come back.
Be Well!

I am still skiney and i eat loads like junk food, lots of meat etc. so when will i put on weight?

eating all this food, i thought i would of put on weight, i been trying to put weight on since i was younger, and im now 20 ( 5ft 7) and i stil aint put any on..i way about 7 stone at he moment
Answer:
That depends on home much calories you burn through the day, if you are active you are probably burning up more calories than you are eating, hence no weight gain!
Sometimes I wish I had your problem. Some people are genetically destined to be thinner for the beginning of their lives. Your metabolism is in high gear and you burn off the Kcals you consume. Have you tried adding weight training to your regimen?
As a skinny by nature person, I know how you feel. I'm 22 and dont weigh over 100 pounds. I eat like a cow, and it goes no where. Try drinking "Boost" (Chocolate flavor)... and eat your normal dinner, then 30 minutes after, drink the drink. It's a meal suppliment. I gained 2 pounds in 2 days. Also try working out (not like, waist working out), but arms or legs. Muscle builds fat. And dont ever think being really skinny is bad!
the problem is that even though you don't weigh that much or look it...you still have the fat its just on the inside of you. but if you really want to put on some weight i would suggest an all McDonald's diet...it worked for me
If you want to put on weight, do it the healthy way. Follow the food pyramid and lift weights to gain muscle. If you keep up what you do and if you don't already exercise, when you're in your 30s and your metabolism slows down you'll most likely reach past your weight goal and pack on unwanted extras, and you'll have a hard time burning it off.My brother used to be like that but then he started lifting (he's 19) and especially in the past few weeks I could swear his shoulders and torso were growing right before me. I think he gained 20 pounds of muscle so far.
You sound just like my friend shes about the same height and weights about 6 stone she gets a prescription for that build up drinks but they dont work and she eats more than I do. when she was pregnant with her third baby she put on 4 stones and the day after she was back into her size 6 jeans again she was hoping to keep some of the weight but she lost every pound of it.
drink a lot of beer but not to much.
I am 5ft 8 hun eat a sensible amount %26 resemble the michelin man lol, my son is 20, 6ft 3 eats double what I do %26 is a stick insect, the other day he came down in his boxers %26 I thought he had to bits of cotton hanging of them till I realised they were his leg!! pmsl. you are who you are hunni so love yourself %26 dont fret over changing your shape, if its going to happen it will x

I am still over wieght, what can i do?

Start buying healthy food and exercising everyday and also try to find a buddy to help you through them tough days.
Get off the computer and go for a bike ride or go swimming or a walk.
Jog in the mornings %26 evenings, even for 20 mins, u will see a lot of different in days, slim tall pretty is good for a girl, thats what attracted hansdome men, trust me as a guy, a girl should never outweigh her man, it dont look good nor is it natural as men are naturally bigger, muscular, even a thin man will be bigger then a thin girl as men have different metabilism %26 other stuff, thats y most relationships work when the couple are physcally matched, trust me this is true, this has been prove, so jog in the mornings, evenings, eat what you want, cut down a bit on the you know junk food, sugary food etc, but enjoy life, but if u wanna lose weight fast, JOG in the MORNINGS/EVENINGS, trust me, PEACE".
Well workout. Run jog move bike sit up push up do burpies mountain climbers anything to get your heart rate up. If you workout for 45 min a day for 5 days a week you will lose weight. Drink more water this boosts your metabolism. Eat a healthy breakfest and then every 3 hours a small meal for the rest of the day. Then go to bed and get up and do it all again.
You should be eating 6 to 7 low calorie meals a day. The most important things to remember is not to eat high carb and stay away from sugar. If you are going to eat pasta or bread make sure its 100% whole wheat. Stay away from labels that say enriched flour. Eating is more important then anything. Next is exercise. If you are just starting you should wake up in the mornings and just go for a 20 to 30 min walk as time progresses instead of walking try to jog a bit. When you think your body feels healthy its time to weight train. This will burn an enormous amount of calorires and you will start seeing results which will motivate you to keep going.

I am starting to lose a lot of weight How can I keep my skin tight? What workouts are best?

I have been losing lots of weight, By the end I will have lost 100+ lbs, How can I keep my skin tight? What workouts should I do and How Long to keep my skin from looking flabby?BTW I am 23.
Answer:
pilates and yoga.and after a while weight lifting.but pilates and yoga for sure
If your skin is getting lose, then you are losing weight to quickly. Slow down a bit and stay well hydrated. You should only be losing 2 lbs a week.
doing daily light weights and drinking lots of water are the best to toning ang tighting...its alot of hard work but it needs to be done...congrats on your mission to lose weight.its hard and it takes guts...im also doing that right now...so i hope hope you meet your goal
You need to stay hydrated, plenty of water, and plenty of moisturizers will help keep the skin healthy so it will regenerate itself.
Also you need to do some toning, strength training. It's impossible to tone skin, but you can tone the muscles underneath for a smoother appearance.
I also agree that you could be losing weight to fast. I lost 62lbs in about a year, and at age 41 never really had a problem with loose skin.
My 36 year old sister had bypass surgery to lose weight, It was very successful in that she lost 135lbs in year, but she to is having a problem with loose skin.
It's impossible to tone in general. Everyone's muscles are toned underneath all the layers of fat, and the only way to see more muscle is by decreasing bodyfat. I have no idea who came up with the idea that you could literally "tone" your muscles, but it is false, and it has been overused for far too long. In order to keep your skin from looking flabby you need to lose weight at a steady pace. If the loss is rapid, your skin will not have enough time to acclimate

I am just looking for Specific workouts that will help me tighten my skin. I drink a ton of water in a day. Also I am losing aprox 2-4 lbs a week and plan to stay at it. So please to lectures on I am losing too fast
Answer:
u want ur skin to be tight try doing cardio any cadio u like for 1hr like power walking then do abb crunches 15 min which will tighten ur abbbs then do weights for 30 min which will tone and sculpt u and also increase matabolism try that also try pilates it will tone and tighten the whole body especially the core try this and see what happens good luck
Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a workout that will tighten skin. Exercise works the muscles, not the skin. The best way to keep skin tight is to lose weight slowly (1-2 pounds per week is best).
Don't smoke, stay out of the sun, limit your alcohol use. There are no skin workouts.
Have you tried Pilates? I am currently taking pilates and it is truly working to build more muscle, and toning especially the abdomnial area!! I am almost in the same situation after having a baby. But I think a combination of cardio would also help too. Congrats and best of luck!!

I am starting a seven day fast,or ten depending if i can get away with it, how can i keep this from my parents

I don't want to tell them because i'm afraid they'll disapprove.but how can i say no to food without them knowing somethings up? Also, please only helpful answers...thanks :) I want to do this fast to cleanse my system of toxins and such so that i can start a healthy diet.
Answer:
The best way is to be open with your folks. Let them in on your plan. Be willing to discuss this as your "first choice", yet be open minded toward modifications and other options.
The two best things I can think of are:1) do it on Dr's approval, advice, and monitoring
2) go by a written and medically approved plan, making sure you are very well hydrated through this time and this hot weather.Seriously here, 7 days is an extra long time to fast. As your mom, I would probably object. Now, If it were a 1 or 2 day fast, there is less at stake in harming your health.Remember that a "diet" = "a plan"
Total denial may not be the best route, out of experience I say this, because once you lose the sensation of hunger, It may not return to "normal" for years, and it can become a genuine health issue on the negative side (personal exerience here)As you look over your options and choices, I hope you settle on what is the healthiest thing for your body.
I don't know how you can hide it from your parents. Even an idiot will notice that you aren't eating anything. It sounds like a bad idea.
I think you should eat healthy! but to keep it from your parents ask to eat in your room or something!
7- 10 days is wayyyyy to long, you won't be able to make it. i would say don't even do the fast, not eating is dangerous, just start eating healthy, your system will clean out. But if you still want to do the fast do it for 2-3 days only and drink alot of water. and i dont know how old you are, but ways to avoid them asking is just stay out of the house. but i still don't reccommend fasting.
dont do it
Hmmm...why not just tell them?
Just say it's a school experiment
or something you've always wanted to try,
although...why, I'm not sure.
Why would you want to fast for 10 days? If it's for weight control, that's not going to work. Eating actually keeps your metabolism going. If you don't eat, your metabolism will slow down to a crawl. Of course, you'll lose some weight, but guess what? Now that you've set your metabolism on low, as soon as you eat normally again (and I mean normally, not pigging out) you'll gain weight.
Fasting isn't going to cleanse your systems of toxins. And exactly what kind of toxins do you think you have anyway? Start eating healthy food - lots of organically grown stuff when possible. Drink lots and lots of plain water. Eat smaller, mini-meals throughout the day to keep that metabolism reved up. You'll be healthier and lose weight. And without the pesky fainting and weakness a 10 day fast would no doubt produce.
And I don't know how old you are, but as a rule, if you're considering doing something you feel you have to hide from your parents ... it's probably not a good idea. They probably want whats best for you.
fasting deprives the body of energy and nutrients needed for normal functions. any rapid weight loss is mostly water and muscle loss. fasting also causes fatigue and dizziness, with less energy for physical activity. and it feeds the cycle of "yo-yo" dieting.
as an aside, there is a misconception that fasting "cleans out" the system, removing toxic waste. to the contrary, body chemicals called ketones build up in the body when carbs aren't available for energy. ketosis (which can be fatal to people with diabetes) puts a burden on kidneys.

I am starting a new diet and need a grocery list to go along with.?

I am starting a new diet and need help with a grocery list! There are other people in my household but I need this just for my self. Please help...If you can help or know of any websites that can help that would be great! So far I have some items down but its seems like Im always buying these items...basic salad, fruits etc...I know its portion control but Im learning alot.I have promised to myself that I am going to stick to this diet but I know easier said than done. If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to ask or tell me.Thank You Yahoo'ers!
Answer:
Try some rice cakes or 100 calorie packs as well. They make good snacks. If you're buying basic salad make sure you have reduced fat or fat-free dressing to go along with it. LOTS of veggies and fruits, some light and fit yogurt, juice, diet iced tea (crystal light is great), wheat pasta. Stuff like that. Hope this helps. :-)
first off, don't diet, change your lifestyle. how much do you excercise weekly? portion control is important too, as is what goes in your mouth. Forget trying to personalize a diet just for you, that will make your family and you feel like two distinct families. eat what they eat, but in smaller portions. whatever you enjoy eating, eat it, but watch how much of it. again, workout. As for a list, what i recommend is going to walmart and buying yourself some protein powder. Whenever you feel like munching on something, make yourself a protein shake. Also, get yourself a multivitamin. recount: protein shakes as munchers. portion control. multivitamins. and finally, excercise.
Get into the habit of reading everything you pick up in the store. I've been picking up stuff low in calories and fat and definetly sugar. Sugar is was collects in your midsection the fastest. We try to watch what we eat as a family and exercise nightly, whether it be a family walk or just me and the boyfriend working out with weights. Good Luck, you'll do just fine!
Sometimes it is the absence of certain things that make the most difference. Don't consume anything white. Especially sugar. Cut out the red meat, no alcohol, nicotine, caffiene, and start extracting juice twice daily, 10 oz tot of Granny Smith apples, broccoli, beets, carrots, cucumbers, celery, parsley, spinach, and roma tomatos, if you do this every day twice daily for a month you will be shocked at how much better you will look and feel.

I am starting a low cal diet and need a non-fish substitiute for tuna.?

I am starting a diet. I drink to much soda. Coke actually. If I quit drinking it?

How much weight would I lose if I quit drinking soda for one month?
Answer:
try it and find out - you should lose quite a bit from just cutting that from your diet alone! adding in exercise and healthy eating habits and you will notice a dramatic change in your body!goodluck on the diet train...
Why don't you try and find out? I heard you can loose up to 10 pounds. But of course depends on how much you eat thou..Don't hurt to try...GOOD LUCK!
The rumor is 15 pounds, but if anything stop drinking all together if your on a diet.
Go with Diet soda. Or Cyrstal light added to water, very tasty. It might take a little bit to get use to Diet soda, but if you look at the sugar content in each can you might make a quick change.
Stop drinking all that soda. Not good for you. Want something to drink? Try water, or a good sports drink.
What else will you do to diet? Cutting calories in any other way? Hopefully, a nice balanced diet. Fruits %26 veggies, lean %26 skinless meat, whole grains. Doing any exercise?A good diet %26 exercise should safely lose a pound or two per week. More than that is too drastic.
It depends on how much soda you drink a day. If you drink 1 a day, that is like 150 calories, so if you drink water instead and don't replace those calories with juice or other caloric drink, that is what you would save a day. So over about 3 weeks you would save about the amount of calories to lose 1 lb. If you drink 5 sodas a day, at the end of 3 weeks, you could lose 5 lbs. Works sorta like that.
changing your drinking habits is the easiest way next to changing your eating habits to lose weight. How much u will lose definetly depends on your current weight and size. U will definetly notice a difference, especially if u drink alot of them now. I would say u would at least lose 10 lbs in your first month, but that will be the most dramatic weight loss month tho
I stopped drinking soda for 1 year and lost 30 pounds without changing my eating habits or exercise habits. I don't know how much you'd lose in a month, but good luck!
All I can say WATER,WATER and more water!! It is ok to drink one can a soda a day.But water will make you drop weight like crazy.Give it atleast 14 days then you will really notice!! It worked for me plus I take Phintermine 37.5mg I have dropped 18 pounds in a month!:-)
about three years ago I quit drinking cokes and lost about 20 pounds in the first month so I would say that is a safe bet

I am soooooooooooooooo Fat .?

Answer:
walk 2 miles and run 2 miles a day and you can eat anything as long as you eat only a little bit,you should eat before you go walking so you can run it off.you should eat fruits at breakfast and lunch.eat vegtables at every meal.i lost 10 pounds in 2 weeks and i am 11 i came home at dinner and ran around the block 2 times and walked 2 times,I also took my ipod with me to HELP!! And also drink plenty of water drink about 3 bottles of water before lunch and 2 after lunch, and eat a snack like 100 calorie snacks about every 3 hours.

Hello, do the following... But im not sure if u can lose 3lbs- Eat Less Oily Food

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... every one plz answer my question thts the link
youve got to be kidding. i dont take s*it like that. your underweight. and stop asking for attention. really. just get over it. no one can see 6 pounds on anyone.
Guys don't care that much about weight and he won't notice the 3 lbs for sure. In fact, I'll bet you if you mention it to him and say it bothers you, he will reassure you that you still look great and that he can't tell.It is normal for weight to go up and down by a few lbs. It will go back down. I have gained and lost as much as 8 lbs in a single week.
You do not need to exercise your body to lose weight. You need to exercise your mind. The loss of three pounds from a body weight of 118 represents about 2.8% loss. I can just about guarantee you that that is more than your monthly fluctuation and that absolutely nobody will see any difference. You are fine the way you are!
wow. on someone whos already underweight as it is, YOU DONT HAVE THE 3POUNDS TO LOSE. you are GROWING you are ONLY 14. you're NOT fat and that boy is not going to think you're fat. more than anything he should think u're a stupid little girl.
omg.
you are so not fat.
you've only gained 5 pounds in 2 years.
you've probably grown since then.
and i'm 13 and i weigh more than you
i'm shorter than you too
i'm average for my height and age.
you're underweight.
he's not going to notice if you lose 3 pounds
that's not going to make much of a difference.
especially since your probably so skinny already.

I am so stressed..?

i have been so stressed lately i don't know what to do..just from family and friend problems and then on top of it i feel so big, big as in fat but im 15 and i only weigh 97 every one tells me not to worry about it and that im fine and some people tell me i need to gain some weight but i have no clue how to gain any weight i eat none stop every day there isn't a second that goes by that im not eating something and i don't know what to do..and what else can i do about my stress? most of it comes from friend problems and some, not most, but some from family.....please help!!
Answer:
dont worry about stress even if your going through bad times just think positve i no its harder then it sounds, but just rember people care about you your a good person and not to let bad things effect you youl be fine. And the eating thing dont worry about it everyone does something when your stressed. Just do situps everynight thats the best thing to do for weight and it makes you look good.
You are too young to be suffering from so much stress! You will have plenty of time when you get older to deal with stress, trust me. And at age 15, 97 pounds doesn't sound to me like you are big or fat! I wish I weighed that little!Take a walk. Exercise is one of the healthiest things you can do for your health, and for your peace of mind. Take a break from your friends for awhile, and spend some quality time alone. You need to find yourself again. We all have good days and bad days. This too shall pass.

I AM SO FAT! please help!?

i'm pretty fat. I have a really fat chubby stomach. how can i tone up my body, i don't really need to loose weight i just have to tone it. how can i do that. by the way i'm 15.
Answer:
Weights and crunches are helpful- but those aren't the main things. You really need to be getting in some good cardio workouts- join a sport like soccer, field hockey, cross country, etc. When you have a sport to get your mind off of working out, and when it becomes fun is when the weight will fall off effortlessly. If you aren't into joining a sport, then you should consider a gym- it's worth the cost if you make a commitment to go regularly. The diet definitely helps- fill yourself up with water before a meal, so you don't eat as much, and try to have your mom/dad/whoever cook more healthfully for your family. It beats eating celery sticks when everyone else is eating pizza. I also think that with a few years, you may find that you "grow" into your body. I've known lots of girls who were chubby in their early teens, but by the time they graduated, they came into their own. Hang in there.
go to the gym honey work on your abs, do sit ups and crunches
I thought you just said you were fat. You might tone your muscle but you can't see it if there is a layer of fat on top of it.
I had the same problem a few monthes ago, but I started this routine about 2 monthes ago and lost 15lbs and got great toning.for breakfast I eat a bowl of any healthy cereal, like kashi. then an hour after I eat, I go running for 20 minutes, then i do an additional 20 minutes of cardio. then for lunch, (3 1/2 hours after i ate breakfast) i eat either a grilled cheese with tomatoe on wheat bread with a serving of fruit. the i ride my bike for 10 minutes, then im done with my excersize for the day. then for dinner, i eat something healthy with vegetables

I am so disappointed: Opinions please?

So I am on a diet- and I am so disappointed on myself. I was craving a bag of baked lays and ate it all. Do you think It will make a huge difference on my diet?for breakfast I had: egg whites, ham and whole wheat toast.
Lunch: fruit saladwhat should I have for dinner to compensate for the chips?
Answer:
Giving into a craving once won't kill you. Just continue with your diet; now you will be more aware of the portions you eat of the foods you do crave. A diet shouldn't be a punishment. You should treat yourself to the foods you enjoy.. just be aware of how much you do eat - ie. don't eat right out of the bag.
Just continue with the diet as usual, you will be fine.
my friends. i dont think itt'll ruin your entire diet. but for future referece GET RID OF ALL THAT JUNK IN YOUR HOUSE! i dont even buy junkfood or anything bad for me unless its a birthday party or something. MY CABINET IS FULL OF WHOLE WHEAT/WHOLE GRAIN EVERYTHINGif you dont have junkfood in your house. than you cant eat it right?
it sounds like you aren't eating enough, that's why you are having cravings. you just had a fruit salad for lunch? even though a fruit salad is healthy, just having that at lunch and nothing else is very unhealthy. you aren't eating a balanced diet. i bet you are hungry all the time. you are allowed to feel fool on a diet, in fact you should always feel full after a meal. diets are hard to stick to, so perhaps you need one that better suits you. for dinner, try fish and steamed veggies with either fruit or a 100 calorie jello pack, or even a cookie. you can splurge sometimes, but not on a whole huge bag of chips. good luck with your diet!

I am so angry at myself.. 13 to 16?

I went on a diet 6 months ago.. I went from a size 15 down to an 11. All my clothes I bought were 11/13s and I was happy with my body because Im tall (5'9") so I didnt look too fat.
Well, now Im a 16 again, and it pisses me off seeing like 15 pairs of CUTE pants I cant wear.
1)How much weight do I need to lose? or inches? to get back into a 13?
2)And, please tell me how I can get to the 13 and how long itll take. thanks you!!
Answer:
Judging by your previous bull***t questions, as well as being on a diet, you're also heavily pregnant. F**k off, stop asking s**t like this. You're clearly being dishonest. As well as insecure and in need of validation from strangers.
Sounds like you did what so many people do. You lose weight and then you revert back to your old habits, well suprise, you're your old self again.Dieting is a lifestyle change, eat healthy, excercise regularly, drink lots of water. And continue to do this even after you lost weight, unless you'll just gain it all back, again.
EDIT: Whatever you do, don't listen to idiots like the one above me, who use this site to market their products.
You're pregnant though, right? I think you're fine! :)
ugh, welcome to yo-yo dieting. and it seems like every time one gains the weight back, one is bigger than ever before. i keep my expensive pair of designer jeans that i only got to wear a few times before i got too fat, lying out where i can see them. it's a reminder of where I want to be.like i said in my previous answer to a similar question, i personally don't believe in putting a time deadline on weight loss. the times i've done that, i've always fallen "behind schedule" and it's made me feel bad (and eventually give up). this time, i'm just losing weight, eating right, and exercising when I can (and by exercising, i usually mean just walking) and I feel like this time is different and i'm really going to reach my goal.so don't be angry at yourself! just do what's right and the rest will follow in due time. start now, and think how much better you will feel when you fit into those pants again!
You are pregnant. Now is not the time to be dieting :) Of course take care with what you eat and exercise but I wouldn't be getting angry... you will put on much more weight like it or not.
I see you ask questions in pregnancy all the time, honey. If you're pregnant, you're not going to be wearing that 13 till AFTER the baby is born. Invest in elastic wasitbands for the next few months, THEN lose the weight after baby comes.
Do not be in a hurry.
boogeous! to all those people saying you are pregant...
First of all!, what dieting did you use? If it was something fast like fasting, slim-fast, diet pills, ect. you probley only lost muscle, water, ect and not body fat.. Means you gained it back quickly once you ate normal.. if you had a long diet plan, then it can be because lack of physical activity, poor diet, high fatty foods ect..

I am skinny and I love to eat!?

But some of the people at school spread rumors about me casue they think that I am anerexic. And I'm not. How do I let others see that I'm not, I weigh 105 pounds and that is about the average weight for a fifteen year old, athletic, girl isn't it?
Answer:
yes, you are definitely not anorexic. some people just have really fast metabolism, and no matter how much they eat, they don't gain any weight!!! my sister is just like that (not me, though, unfortunately!). the people that are saying are really mean, and there's really no way to change their minds if they are set on spreading rumors about you. all you can do is to get yourself a good group of friends that you can trust. good luck!
yeah. if you have a fast metabolism
and exercise somewhatit depends how tall you are..
but since you said you eat alot. it seems fine
You probably have real high metabolism like me. I'm 23, 5'4 and about 120 pounds, and I eat A LOT. But, still..people call me anoxeric, skinny, bony, you name it. More than likely they are just jealous, so just ignore them! lol
well it is ur metabolism u can eat a lot and still not gain weight
but u can still be healthy as long as u eat healthy
thats a lil smaller than average, depending on ur height. just ignore it. if u know ur not anorexic, thats what matters. if they call you that just invite them to go out to eat or sumthing!! :P personally, i'm jealous, i have to work to keep at 115 and i'm 14 :(
your very lucky..
Your weight is perfect. The only reason I can think of that people think you are too skinny is that so many kids around you are too fat. I'm 35 and weigh 112...believe me, I know what you're saying.
u didn't say if it runs in the family or not but anyway i wouldn't worry about other people my sister is like that and she was accused of being annorexic to and she eats alot so there is nothing wrong with ok .

it all depends... how old are you, and what is your height?
There is a saying that goes, "Recognizing that you have a problem is the first step to getting help". If you know you're emotional eater, then make sure you have better, healthier food choices around when you do become emotional so you're not searching for the ice cream, cookies and cake when stressed out.
im going through the same thing! I'm 12 115 lb. 5'3. I dont feel skinny but i dont feel to fat! its sooo hard. i try eating like 2 meals a day. for breakfast a waffle w/ a glass of orange juice and for lunch an apple yougert sandwich and for dinner gronaola bar and something fat free. i exercise 2 times a day
hope it helps u and me
well it depends how tall you are.
height determines a lot.
don't feel fat. be positive hahaha.anyway, if you really do want to lose about 10lbs, then this would be great for you. its called the Reset (from Usana). its a five day fiber cleanser (cleans your colons and gets rid of all your waste)... first time you use it, you're guaranteed to lose 5 to 10lbs... my friend used it and from using it, he lost weight from 213lbs to 170lbs...but him, he used it a few times. the stuff that you eat from it are REALLY good i swear. you'll actually want to eat MORE...the shakes are good. they have chocolate strawberry and vanilla. easy to mix too. and the best part is the bars you eat. they have lemon and chocolate bar. the chocolate bar is the bestttttttttttttt you'll want more i swear. i had to stop myself from eating more of it during the program lol. and supplements also come with it too. those supplements make me feel energy, like...not tired anymore. i checked the nutritional something book..forgot what its called...and usana's pills are ranked ninety something percent out of 100 percent.. compared to centrum and kirkland..shoot those stuff are like 4.2 percent out of 100!! can you believe that?! wow.. usana's supplements are number one wowww... so yeah lol after the reset i started ordering the healthpak100 which is a month supply of the supplments too haha.. yeah well anyway.. just check it out or something. its at http://livehappy.usana.com
