For breakfast I ate Cereal with milk 1 orange 1 Piece of toast and a couple of grapes for Lunch I ate a Turkey sandwich on wheat bread and for supper I ate a McDonald's Southwest grilled chicken salad ( I know its bad for me I never knew that till I finished eating it also I only ate half of the salad ) So was all this healthy choices ?
Answer:
you may need more calories. you are a guy from what i can tell, so 1500-1600 would be a good calorie count.
turkey on wheat is good.
breakfast may need some protein. i would nix the cereal and have a couple egg whites with a piece of toast with 1 tbsp peanut butter on it.
your dinner - eh, mcdonalds? they usually have high fat dressings. lettuce from mcdonalds, yuck. a good dinner would be a homemade chicken breast with brown rice and vegetables.
Well did you exercise at all? Because that's the best way to lose weight and good diet, your starving your body with that little food. 6 small meals a day to boost your metabolism, eat more protein, have a omelet made from egg whites in the morning also.
whole milk, 2%, 1%, or skim? Plain or sugar coated cereal? How much cereal? What did you have on the sandwich with the turkey? butter, mayonaise? What did you have to drink?
For the most part.Salads can be totally fine to eat from fast food places, as long as you limit your dressing (the biggest offender)Doon't worry about any little extra cruchy things, or things like that. You can't deprive yourself, and they really aren't that bad.The dressing can make a salad have more fat and calories than any of the burgers on the menu. 1 tip: Rather than pouring the dressing on the salad, dip your fork in the dressing before you load your fork with salad. You'll end up with, usually, just enough salad dressing. If they offer it, though, definately ask if they offer a low-fat dressing.
Cut out the simple carbs like your cereal and toast, replace them with complex carbs, veggies and lean meats. You will find yourself losing more weight easily, healthier and not worrying about calories.Xiaozhen
