I am cutting my portions of what i eat in half does anybody have any other suggestions?


Answer:
1) Drink water
2) Drink green tea
3) Run in the morning.
4) Eat fruits and vegetales.
5) Do not eat junk food.Also, if you would like to weigh 120 pounds, eat 1200 calories, if you would like to weigh 146 pounds, eat 1460 calories! Simple as that. be sure you are burning more calories than you're taking in. It takes 3500 calories to lose one pound, as with gaining a pound too!Hope this helps! :D Goodluck Sweetheart!
Eat 3 healthy meals a day with a snack between each meal. Exercise and eat lots of fresh fruits and veggies.
exercise! not necessarily hitting the gym but a quick walk in the park would never hurt! it works for me!
Yeah...Your stomach is only the size of your fist.. Trying selecting bowls or small salad plates from now instead of full size dinner platters to eat from.
EXERCISE! (run, swim, play a sport, walk your dog: making little life changes makes a big difference)Also, drink lots of water before each meal so you feel full faster. And those meals you cut in half, have them be healthy meals. A salad with just a little dressing, lots of veggies and nuts is much better than half of a Big Mac
Get out and start walking alot.
I suggest you stop eating out-you never truly know what is in the meal. Unless you're eating salads with diet dressing and grilled chicken I would stick to home meals.
I dont know how much weight you want to lose, but here are some tips to help you kickstart your metabolism into high gear and start shedding pounds:bread: yes and no! When I say bread, Im going to include all categories of carbohydrates: breads, pastas, potatoes, and even white vegetables and applesYou will want to ELIMINATE all bad carbs. What do I mean by that? The following: white bread (even light white is taboo), white pastas, potatoes, and coliflower. You will do this for two reasons: 1) they aren't metabolized well and turn into sugar, which is later stored as fat, and 2) your body burns carbs before fat, so if your goal is fat loss, cut these nasty carbs out of your diet.with that said, you should incorporate 2 servings of COMPLEX carbs (healthy, easily metabolized) with fiber: examples: whole grain breads or pastas, cereals with HIGH FIBER content and low to no sugar content.Meats: YEs, you need it to burn fat because they contain protein. But you want to consume at least 2 servings of LEAN protein: lean beef, chicken (boiled or baked or pan fried with no skin) turkey, or any kind of fish (not fried).avoid: pork and fat cuts of beef, bacon, ham and mixed meats like hot dogs, bologna, pastrami, etc.Dairy: yes, yes, and yes. Start with this, people get bored, people eat, people gain weight because they eat because they are bored, not hungry. Its not eating in general that makes you "Fat" its excessive eating. Eat organic foods, they are so much better for you than all the "Normal" foods with add ingredients that are "man made". These chemicals can cause weight gain, and many other serious problems. Also try not to microwave you food, you don't want to be putting radiation into you body, do you?, lets hope not. Also drink lots of water, yes i know, you probably think it will make you bloat, well its not true, water Will NOT make you bloat. Make sure you only drink all natural water, no added vitamins or anything, this will help make the kidneys more healthy and help with weight loss in the process. Also don't cook with non stick pans, when you do this you breath in harmful chemical's, and you eat them with you food, don't use white flour when baking, white flour and water makes past, and paste makes fat. Walk about an hour a day at the minimum, the body was built to walk, so let it walk!, this will help speed up your metabolism and loose weight. Dont go anerexic, or belimic. If you find yourself eating out of bordom, do something so you dont eat. Excersise, dance, sing, socialize. Rather than Watching T.V and playing video games. Exercise, dance, singing and talking with people are helpful mentaly, and could help you loose weight in some manner, one that i wont get into here, e-mail for further advice, if you wish. Thats what i have for you. Avoid medicine, that i cant talk about here but it is bad..Stop eating out!, thats a top 10 weight gain thing to do, resturaounts are bad!. Fast food, deep fried crap!.
