Answer:
Ok you want to diet not starve yourself so here's what you do.1.) Give yourself a daily caloric limit - don't go below 1250 or so or it won't be healthy
2.) Watch what you eat - no junk food, fast food, fried foods, stay away from regular pop/soda
3.) Eat a heavier breakfast than dinner so that you have time to burn the calories off
4.) Snack healthy - fruits, vegetables, baked potato chips, 100 calorie packs of your favorite cookies, rice cakes drizzled in chocolate
5.) Eat stuff like egg whites and low-fat yogurt for breakfast, tuna fish, grilled chicken, and veggies for lunch or dinner.
6.) Drink A LOT of water
7.) Don't eat anything too soon before bedtime or you won't burn off the calories.Just watch your calories, stay within your personal limit what ever it is you choose (I think for you maybe 1500-1550, but it's up to you). Make sure to work out maybe three times a week (more if you want to consume more calories). Do things like crunches, running/walking on a treadmill, jog in place, squats, weights. All of this should help you lose some weight, tone up, and look good for your first day of 8th grade. Good Luck. Email me if you have questions or anything,
You should try combining exercise with good nutrition. Keep lots of veggies and fruits around for snacking.
drink lots of water and when ever u r hungry..try to take very little bits as a piece of almond may be...and substitute carbs with more green veggies and salads with fat free vin dressing or no dressing at all...this helps...and add lemon instead of dressings!
Don't diet. It doesn't work. Try eating healthier foods and getting plenty of excersize. If you're still having the problem with wanting more to eat try more filling foods. Like oatmeal. Or try spicy foods. They make you want to eat less. Good luck!
Drink lots of water and make sure you're eating enough protein. Try some lunch meat and cheese. Also, if you can get your parents to allow it, you may want to join Weight Watchers. They're a great organization and teach you how to lose weight effectively and keep it off!
Don't diet. Girls your age shouldn't diet in the first place, it's not healthy. Do follow the food pyramid, teachers didn't teach us that for nothing.First off, eat a big breakfast. It honestly is the most important meal of the day. It starts off your metabolism faster, which is a good thing. For breakfast, maybe have some fruits like a banana or some berries with toast and/or eggs and oatmeal.Snack on small healthy things, like pretzels during the day so you won't always be hungry but don't overeat. Allow yourself to have a treat every now and then. A few cookies a day won't really hurt you or anything. Also, try to exercise. Swimming is a great way to lose weight, and so is dancing. Walking/jogging is another thing I'd recommend. Good luck.
You are not eating enough! Eat more...healthy snacks like apple slices. Also drink lots of water.
Two tried and true tips:1) Eat more lean protein, such as fat free yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese, white fish such as haddock and tilapia, chicken breasts and lean beef.2) If you are hungry, eat! Eat all the fresh fruits and veggies you want. Pick things you really like. Cucumbers, yellow peppers, green peppers, new fresh carrots, cherries, oranges, romaine lettuce (A nice salad!) blueberries, peaches, asparagus, whatever your favorites are. Get them from a farm stand or farmer's market if you can, so they are really fresh and nutritious. If you choose fresh natural foods that still have their life energy, you will naturally find yourself eating less, because they nourish you more than "dead" or processed foods. Good luck!
You need to eat healthy. When people are on diets I hear them say they eat six small meals a day.But if that's not what you want to do, then don't. Try eating some Special K breakfast cereal with lowfat milk in the morning. For lunch get something from subway, and then for dinner have like spaghetti and a salad or just a salad with grilled chicken. They're all healthy and tasty. And make sure you exercise a lot. Your "extra weight" isn't going to go away by JUST eating healthy.Try 20 pushups, 40 sit ups, and 100 jumping jacks a couple times a day, and then add on if you like. Run for like 30 minutes, easy stuff like that, until you're ready for harder things.Be sure to stretch, too, before you exercise, you can pull a muscle if you don't.G00D LUCKKKK :)
eat healthy food you shouldn't starve yourself and you shouldn't snack because that keeps your stomach working
hard .and yes exercise .
Whoa!! Don't get into the habit, or even belief system, that simply not eating is a practical way to lose weight. That is VERY unhealthy. Dieting does not mean not eating. Decrease your carb intake. If you're trying to lose that much weight in a few months (and it's somewhat unrealistic, just to be straight with you), but you want to keep your carbs to "healthy" carbs like bread and cereal - completely cut out cookies, chips, etc. And no carbs after 5pm - we are all more idle after that time and it would all be converted to fat then. Eat more salads, fruits, protein. And exercise - you should be getting a relatively normal intake of calories (maybe cut a little, like 500 less than usual, but if you're exercising, maintain a normal intake of calories). Just get out and run a mile every day. If you're not a runner, I would suggest starting with a short distance and working your way up, but AT LEAST be walking a few miles a day then. Best of luck.
